Choosing a name for our boat was a journey back to the roots of the Aegean. In Greek mythology, Calypso was a nymph of the sea, known for her grace and the legendary hospitality she offered on her island. She represented a world where time slowed down and the beauty of nature took center stage.

We chose this name because it perfectly reflects the spirit of our boat. Like the mythical island of Ogygia, our motorsailer is a spacious sanctuary designed for those who want to disconnect from the noise of the world and reconnect with the sea. We didn’t want a polished, impersonal yacht. We wanted a boat that feels like a home—comfortable, honest, and full of life. From the wide, cushion-filled deck to the aroma of a homemade lunch cooking as we cruise, every detail is a nod to the genuine Greek hospitality that has been passed down through generations. We have moved away from the cramped seating of traditional tours to create an environment defined by ease and freedom. With a capacity limited to 23 guests, our wide deck is a landscape of comfort, featuring soft sun-mattresses and oversized bean bags. Here, you have the space to breathe, the freedom to stretch out, and the peace to soak up the Aegean sun.

The Calypso Experience is rooted in the genuine Greek tradition of philoxenia. As we cruise through the turquoise waters surrounding Mykonos, our crew serves as your personal hosts, offering a homemade lunch prepared right on deck.
